Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital in North Scottsdale is adding a full or part-time experienced Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to our team. Our hospital is routed in the community and our clients and team members are like family.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous veterinary experience REQUIRED
  • Passion for learning & caring for animals
  • Team player who is willing to take initiative to jump in and help the team
  • Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Cornerstone knowledge is a plus (not required)
  • Outstanding client service and exceptional patient care
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Triage of patients
  • Collection and analysis of lab samples
  • Diagnostic imaging
  • Management and nursing care of hospitalized pets
  • Administration of enteral and parenteral medications
  • Effective communication with team members and clients
  • Provide extraordinary service to our clients and patients
  • Manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system
  • Welcome and assist clients/pets arriving for appointments
  • Schedule/confirm outpatient appointments and inpatient procedures
  • An understanding of vaccines and preventative protocols
  • Most importantly: loving what you do
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time


Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:
  • Up to a 10+ hour shift

  • Rotating Saturdays as needed

  • North Scottsdale, AZ 85255: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
