Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This is a dynamic Travel Oncology Pharmacist position within a Cancer and Infusion Center, providing clinical care and operational support.
Assignment: 13 Weeks | MonFri | Days (73:30 or 84:30)Role Highlights:
Assess therapy regimens for safety and appropriateness, including age-specific dosing.
Conduct clinical research and staff education.
Oversee sterile pounding and chemotherapy preparation.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain medication inventory.
Develop and update department and nursing policies.
Standardize chemotherapeutic medication ordering.
Requirements:
MA Pharmacist License (or eligibility).
5+ years of acute care clinical experience.
Strong sterile pounding skills required.
PGY1 Oncology Residency and BCOP certification strongly preferred.
Independent, detail-oriented, and capable of supervising support personnel.
Reliable transportation required.
