Job Summary:  

The Production Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our cannabis production facility. This role involves assessing rooms for cleanliness, managing and cleaning tools and trays, performing alcohol and ISO management, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. The Production Sanitation Associate will operate washers and ultrasonic machines, prepare tools for daily use, and keep accurate cleaning logs. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Assesses manufacturing areas for cleanliness and readiness, ensuring all tools in drawers, tins, and trays on shelves are clean.  
• Collect dirty tools and trays from the manufacturing area and return them to the washroom.  
• Collect dirty tools from Pods and clean them through the washer or ultrasonic cycle. Stock clean towels in all stations and swap towels on drying racks every Friday. 
• Wash dirty tools using washers or ultrasonic machines and clean dirty trays thoroughly, distributing clean tools and trays back to their designated areas. 
• Collect, condense, refill, and redistribute ISO bottles from the manufacturing area 
• Maintain the sink area by ensuring it is clean, and water is prepped for use.  
• Inspect washers and ultrasonic machines to ensure they are empty and clean before use, following the drainage schedule for the ultrasonic machine (Wednesdays and Fridays or as needed). 
• Manage the cleaning process for dirty trays and tools, ensuring tools are prepped for lunch switches and swapped during lunch times, and maintain clean and dry tools throughout the shift.  
• Check and clean Sauce Stations, prepare water to clean Sauce rollers, and clean Sauce rollers and Sauce mats on the production floor. 
• At the end of the day, collect dirty tools and trays from the production floor, prepare water for end-of-day cleaning, and clean all Sauce residue from Sauce roller machines and mats.  
• Maintain cleaning logs accurately and timely to ensure compliance with sanitation protocols and state regulations. 
• Perform alcohol refill runs and distributes as necessary.  
• Required to wear a fitted respirator mask.  

Qualifications:  

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively. 
• Understanding of sanitation protocols and state compliance requirements. 
• Experience with industrial washing machines and ultrasonic cleaning equipment. 
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain a clean work environment. 
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with various departments.
