Plant DJ | Manufacturing Clerk Position Overview Position Objective: To receive all purchase orders into the system so that the bill can be processed. To be responsible for the shipment of waste. Essential Duties: Receive in purchase orders. Pull order exception report and clear orders off exception reports when received. File receivers. Work with corporate sourcing on any problems. Work with accounts payable on any problems. Print labels and make folders for new vendor. Be responsible for returns to vendors. Order trailers to ship waste. Complete bills of laden on waste shipments. Non-Essential Duties: General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or plant management. Education and Experience Requirements: Must be able to read, write and perform basic math. Experience in receiving preferred. Computer skills preferred with the ability to use Ariba, PeopleSoft, Glink, Documents Direct, and Shaw Online. Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry loads of up to 50 pounds without assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, grasp and reach frequently. Must be able to work in industrial environment with elevated noise levels, dust, dirt, humidity and temperature variations. Must participate in pre-shift stretching exercises.
