Pallet Builder, $18.00/hour - Garrett, IN

Qualifications:
- Ability to perform repetitive movements, including frequent kneeling, standing, and squatting throughout the workday
- Strong physical stamina and endurance to handle demanding tasks in all conditions
- Comfortable with lifting, bending, and carrying heavy materials or equipment
- Excellent balance and agility for fast transitions between different positions (up/down, kneeling, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically taxing environment
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused for long hours
- Previous experience in physically demanding roles preferred, but not required
Skills:
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to measure and calculate material quantities and dimensions accurately
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle hand tools (hammer, nail gun, saw, etc.) with precision and care
- Can understand verbal or written work instructions- will be building pallets throughout shift.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all pallets are built to exact specifications, with proper measurements and secure fastening.
- Woodworking Skills: Experience with wood materials, cutting, and assembling pallets
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret pallet design plans or diagrams
- Quality Control: Ensure finished pallets are structurally sound and meet safety standards
In this role, you will build pallets throughout your shift. The ability to cross-train between different departments is required. This position can be hired after your time with Workbox!
