Location: Kinston, North Carolina Company: STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is hiring experienced Lead A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to support corporate aircraft operations in Kinston, North Carolina. This is a high-level opportunity for skilled professionals ready to lead teams, ensure compliance, and maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced MRO setting. Position Overview: As a Lead A&P Technician, you will perform hands-on aircraft maintenance while guiding a team of technicians. You will help manage daily workload, verify time and attendance, and assist with performance reviews. This role requires deep technical experience, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of corporate aircraft maintenance standards. Responsibilities: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on corporate aircraft Lead maintenance teams and serve as a technical point of contact on the floor Verify technician timekeeping and contribute to performance evaluations Ensure work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with internal teams and customers Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years overall aircraft maintenance experience At least 5 years of experience working with corporate aircraft Prior MRO or Part 145 repair station experience required Previous leadership experience strongly preferred Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License required Shift Options: Weekend Nights (includes a $6.00 per hour shift differential) Weekend Days (includes a $4.00 per hour shift differential) Weekdays Pay Range: $42.00 to $50.00 per hour, based on experience Benefits: Relocation assistance available Company-paid medical, dental and vision insurance 401(k) with 50% company match up to 8% Paid holidays, paid time off, and life insurance Opportunities for certification support and long-term career growth About STS Technical Services: STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with leading companies across aviation, manufacturing, defense, and industrial sectors.
