Client Overview:

Our client is a rapidly growing organization looking to add a Junior Financial Analyst to its Finance team. This role is ideal for a driven early-career professional with strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in financial reporting.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr

Position Overview:

The successful Junior Financial Analyst candidate will play a key role in supporting data analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting efforts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Junior Financial Analyst:

• Analyze financial data and assist in preparing reports, projections, and performance insights.
• Collaborate with finance team members to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Extract and organize financial data into actionable formats, including pivot tables and dashboard-ready summaries.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis requests as needed.
• Maintain data accuracy and ensure consistency in reporting across departments.

Required Experience/Skills for the Junior Financial Analyst:

• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience. Strong internships will also be considered.
• Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday).
• Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Alteryx or SQL.
• Understanding of GAAP or other financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic financial modeling.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Junior Financial Analyst:

• Experience preparing or analyzing budgets and forecasts.
• Exposure to cost analysis, variance analysis, or profitability metrics.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
