Our client is looking for an attorney to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join an influential and highly regarded financial services company in a role that will focus on swaps and derivatives. Prior experience with swaps and derivatives is not required . The company will train an attorney with experience in securities or finance. The role is broad and will cover all aspects of derivatives, including the ISDA master agreement, various derivative types (credit, equity, commodity/energy), clearing of derivatives, settlement, and regulatory issues. This position may be based in either NYC or Washington, D.C. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pivoting out of their current practice to a multi-trillion dollar industry.
They are looking for a junior attorney with 2-4 years’ experience with finance or securities transactions. Any experience with derivatives is a plus. Experience from either a law firm or in-house experience will be considered.
This company is on a hybrid work schedule of three days in office, two days remote, and the lawyer can be based in either NYC or Washington, DC.
Salary range: $150,000 - $170,000 with excellent benefits.
