This is a long-term temporary onsite Monday through Friday 9am-5pm position, with potential for remote Fridays. But you just might WANT to be there every day!
Duties include:
Providing administrative support to HR team
Tracking IT support requests for employees
Assisting with onboarding new hires including background checks, offer letters, and new hire orientations
Responding to Employment Verifications and other inquiries
Maintaining employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
Maintaining I-9 Forms and ensuring completion and compliance; assisting with audits of files
Responding to general employee inquiries related to benefits, company policies, and procedures
Utilizing HRIS systems and updating information
Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail
Assisting with planning and executing company events such as holiday lunches and gift distributions, philanthropic programs, and team building exercises including venue booking and catering
Assisting with Employee Relations
Creating and maintaining files both digitally and physically and purging files when needed
Qualifications Include:
Excellent Administrative Assistant Skills
Interest and experience (1 year plus preferred) in Human Resources
One plus years of office support experience
Strong organizational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to develop & maintain professional relationships and maintain confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of HRIS
