Position:

HRIS Business Analyst

Description:

We are seeking a business analyst with strong technical Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) knowledge and business analysis skills, including data validation, testing, requirements traceability, training, and general system support skills.

Project: Implementation of Workday HCM for 70,000 state employees, replacing PeopleSoft HCM. This position supplements project business analysis support for Talent (Recruiting and Performance), Compensation, Benefits, and/or Core HR functions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Review and resolve data conversion issues to map data from legacy systems to Workday.
- Employ validation techniques to ensure data conversion success.
- Develop test plans and scripts; conduct testing.
- Provide technical support for system maintenance and enhancements.
- Create software user guides and supporting documentation.
- Provide user support and training.
- Serve as liaison between client business units and technical team.

Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel, SQL, and/or data analysis tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present and document high quality, detailed deliverables.

Minimum Entry Qualifications:
- Four years\' experience implementing and/or administering HRIS.
- Direct experience in large-scale data conversion.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Workday HCM implementation or support.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM.
- Experience supporting technology in the public sector.
