Description:

Job Summary: The Fleet Manager is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising the vehicle fleet and drivers. Primary contact concerning the fleet and operations.

Daily Duties:

• Locate and assigning loads to flatbed drivers from AFC customers or 3pl
• Scheduling fleet maintenance and repairs
• Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service
• Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles
• Complying to USDOT laws and regulations
• Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profits and timely deliveries

KPI’s:

• Revenue/ truck
• Overall Revenue
• Customer %
• $/mile loaded
• $/mile total

Requirements:

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Skills:

• Experience in transportation or logistics
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
