Financial Analyst | Zeeland, MI

Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, and COGS to identify trends.
• Develop and manage operational budgets and financial forecasts for production.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and performance dashboards for manufacturing operations.
• Conduct variance analysis, explaining deviations from budget related to material, labor, and overhead.
• Perform capital expenditure analysis, evaluating ROI for new machinery and facility improvements.
• Analyze inventory valuation, turnover, and obsolescence to optimize working capital.
• Support strategic decision-making with financial insights into product profitability and operational efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing operations
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel
• Experience with variance analysis and management reporting
• Ability to analyze large datasets and translate complex financial information into actionable insights

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with supply chain finance and inventory management best practices.
• Experience utilizing business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for operational data analysis.
