Mechanical Contracts Manager

Location: West London

Salary: 60 - 70k per annum & vehicle, fuel card, package

A leading Contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager with at least 5 years' experience to oversee maintenance contracts in West London and the West End.

With numerous new contracts across various sectors, there are ample opportunities for progression within the company. The successful candidate will be adept at managing multiple priorities, working under tight deadlines, and demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.

Experience Required

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role
• Mechanical background within the Commercial Heating industry with solid technical knowledge of mechanical building services
• Financial and cost management experience
• Management experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems and service standards
• Experience in statutory compliance management
• Driven, hardworking, and proactive mentality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
• Strong leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordination of direct labour to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Preparation of annual PPM and statutory compliance programs
• Management and monitoring of specialist contractors
• Updating programs, preparing performance and status reports
• Ensuring health and safety compliance by all contractors and direct labour, including risk and method statement preparation
• Financial budgeting, managing variations, and processing payments
