About DFL:

Design for Leisure (DFL) is a team of hydrothermal spa specialists working with owners, operators, architects, and designers to bring European-inspired hydrotherapy concepts to life. We design and deliver best-in-class wet areas for luxury residential thermal suites, 5-star hospitality projects, and high-end commercial developments.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Construction Manage r willing to work in a fast-paced, multinational company. This position will require experience overseeing commercial and residential construction sites, project planning and execution, coordinating with subcontractors, project teams and company leadership to manage all onsite construction activities. The position will directly support the Director of Construction to ensure progress, quality and compliance with safety and design standards. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to join a growing company in specialized construction field that has exemplary organizational and leadership skills, with extensive experience in design and construction or related industries .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mobilization and site setup for all materials, equipment and tools.
  • Coordinates delivery schedules to all project sites and direct installation activity sequencing.
  • Supervise and direct Lead Installers enforcing quality/safety standards, following building code requirements, while identifying and resolving issues before installation occurs.
  • Coordinate daily execution with PMs, communicate on-site issues, and develop solutions.
  • Coordinate client communications during active construction and between mobilization periods
  • Carry out pre-construction visits and site surveys to determine site readiness
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules and budgets from start to completion of construction.
  • Manage and lead project meetings, providing updates on project status and addressing issues as they arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in construction management with a focus on design and construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management principles with Proficiency in project management software platforms
  • Familiarity with design principles and the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specification documentation.
  • Understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong comprehension of Mech/Elec./Plum. (MEP) requirements and trade practices
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Travel is a requirement and must have ability to travel extensively across the United States to support project execution and site management as needed.
Preferred Skills

  • Background in construction, spa/wellness, or related industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Procore, BuilderTrend).
  • Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve logistical challenges quickly.
