Join Hepaco, a Clean Harbors company, as we seek a dedicated Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of heavy and light-duty trucks and work equipment. This position involves driving and non-driving duties associated with hazardous waste clean-up at various customer sites, including the use of vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs.

Training Information: All new hires must attend a two-week training academy, with travel expenses and per diem provided by the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a team environment.
• Handle loading and unloading of trucks.
• Perform manual labor as needed to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles in accordance with Company and DOT standards.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and other necessary reports.
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
• Operate vehicles in line with U.S. DOT requirements.
• Observe corporate operating guidelines and environmental health protocols.
• Be available for emergency response on a rotating schedule.
• Engage in site-remediation and equipment decontamination, managing hazardous materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Capability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of hire.
• Comfortable using various mobile devices.
• Physical capability to meet job requirements.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Meet facial hair standards per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a commercial driver.
• Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Previous experience in hazardous materials handling.
• Experience in manual labor roles.
