Job Description: Business Management Associate

This is an entry-level position for a functional expert within Cargills Animal Nutrition business. The role is part of an intensive 12-18 month training program focused on one of the following core functions:

  1. Strategic Pricing: Developing and implementing pricing strategies.
  2. Supply Chain Strategy & Execution: Managing and optimizing the flow of goods and services.
  3. Feed Formulation: Creating animal feed recipes that meet nutritional needs.
  4. Commodity Merchandising, Trading, Risk Management, and Sourcing: Buying, selling, and managing risk associated with commodities.
  5. Data and Business Analytics: Analyzing data to support business decision-making.

The program will cover both strategic and tactical business concepts. Associates will be evaluated on technical skills, business acumen, and leadership potential. Successful completion leads to a role within one of the core functions, with potential progression to individual contributor or supervisory positions.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Legal right to work in the U.S. (not based on a student or third-party sponsored visa).
  • Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree (graduating between December 2024 and August 2025) in supply chain, operations, business, sales, finance, agribusiness, ag economics, business analytics, animal science, or a related field.
  • Willingness and ability to relocate.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and cultures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated through collaboration, creativity, and determination.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and handle details.
  • Willingness to take calculated risks and make decisive actions.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Job Locations:
